I got to go to Michelle's house to take some pictures of her and her pets. They are so lucky to have her, as am I!!! Michelle is my principal, and let's just say I love her! She's fun, supportive, kind, and laid back... which makes my job a whole lot better! She has dedicated a big part of her life to adopting animals and has a big heart. Her newest addition is Mazie and I swear she was posing for some of the shots. Check out Mazie and the rest of the crew...they are adorable!!!

The Vecellio Family
I had a great time with this family....they are just fun! I have known these three kiddos since they were little, and it's amazing to see them now. Sweetness just emanates from each one of them and I really enjoyed capturing the spirit of their family.

Shoot for the Moon!
I think back to when I was 13 and my aunt told me she was going to have a baby. It's funny because I can remember exactly where I was and what I said, I remember it exactly because I was so excited! Here is that baby boy all grown up and ready to move on to the next big journey in his life...college! It has been a true joy watching Ben grow and I have so many memories with him. He was adorable and still is...those freckles, dimples, and contagious smile. I secretly love when he asks me to read his essays and still visits us even though he's a lot cooler than us! Ben, "shoot for the moon and if you miss you will still be among the stars!"

Random!!!
Well October was a crazy month...I wore both shorts and snow pants! I can honestly say that has never happened before!!! Here are some pictures of Karaline's first field trip, Karaline being Karaline, the newest Dorthy and that rare October storm that left us with no electricity for 9 days....can you tell I still am trying to get over that???

The Gang!
Ok...so this has taken me super long to post but that is because we lost electricity for 9 days, YES I said 9 days!!!! I loved this photo session of five cousins! I love the group shot at the end...I think their personalities just shine through and those are my favorites! I would have to say that taking these pictures was really touching for me! To start, I got to see my old neighbor girls that would call out my name and come over to visit, always little sweethearts. They are both growing into beautiful young women and I miss them so! Next, I got to work with their cousins, which includes Scotty, who is autistic. We worked really hard for the group shots, and I have to say that any mom who thinks they have it rough should come spend a day with Scotty's mom. Near the end of my time with them, Scotty let me take some really good pictures! To see a mom cry because of a picture I took means so much to me...it just touches my heart!
